As someone who frequents other imageboards, I think the reason others who post more negatively do so because it's more comfortable. It feels good to vent amongst likeminded people, after all.
I think the kind of people who browse altchans are very different from those who just stick to 4chan, so they won't see eye to eye on certain topics or experiences.
If I vented here, more often than not I'll have someone in the replies who'll feel compelled to be my personal psychiatrist or just straight up misunderstand the meaning of my words. Or worse...turn it into a social media screenshot to be laughed at because it's on the funny four of chans.

Buy or make a book scanner! Even if some have already been scanned, it's always good to have more digital copies of something. Especially if said book scans online are low quality or missing pages.
