While Mea definitely plays up her disgusting persona, it's also not a secret she is kinda disgusting irl as well as we can see that from how other vtubers talk about her. But the hate towards her I see here is mystery to me. She herself has described "I am a NEET for the NEETS". That's her schtick, no need for idolfags to get uppity about it, different strokes for different folks.
