Seriously, /jp/, were you guys trolling when you recommended this?

I just spent 10 minutes looking through it and I don't understand it. Why would someone want to know what kanji mean in ENGLISH only? You're trying to learn Japanese. You're supposed to associate them with the Japanese readings. Learning what they are in English only is just slowing your progression. This is almost as bad as trying to learn Japanese through romaji.

I refuse to believe anyone has been successful with this. And even as someone who has not gone incredibly far with Japanese yet, I definitely would not recommend this to anyone here.
