IN was about moonies learning about an unusual specimen living in Gensokyo. Both immortals obviously had a big fight over him too.

MoF was actually a second war between Suwako and Kanako over you know who. Reimu wasn't aware of this at first and assumed competition.
SWR was about Tenshi looking for some fun, both war and love.
SA had Utsuho think she wouldn't be able to have sex with Kourin so she wanted to destroy everything.
During UFO girls thought the treasure ship stole Kourin's possesions, so they went to get them back. It was just an incident actually.
TD was about actual desires however. Yes, you know the ones. Word about Kourin spread far and wide by this point.
HM was an actual incident, when the rumors went into overdrive, the men were despairing that their wives all wanted to leave them.
DDC was about Seija trying to turn Rinnosuke away from harems and into just monogamous relationship with her.
ISC was the revenge for that.
ULiL was an actual incident. And Sumireko showed up to lose her virginity.
LoLK was an actual incident, but the rover was also programmed to find the purest man in Gensokyo so moonies could breed with him.
HSiFS was just Okina showing up and taking her rightful place as one of Gensokyo's bigshots, beside Kourin.
WBaWC was about the three mafias wanting a piece of him for themselves.
UM was just a normal incident.
