Nah, there is a lot of stuff going on off-screen in all of these arcs, like it's obvious Rena was doing stuff which is why she thought Keiichi was onto her.

Watadamashi also has potential to be as big a mess as Tataridamashi, just less related to Satoko's motivations.

>Satoko's "dark side" is supposed to be comparable to Rena's or Shion's, but they're not even close since unlike those two, Satoko is completely lucid and in control of her actions.
It feels like he's kind of attempting to write out HS in general outside of L5 injections. If the characters become paranoid it's due to their own inherent flaws.

Well, there's some debate about what exactly happened in Tataridamashi's conclusion (although at this point discussions seems to be going nowhere since some people argue that even though the blood doesn't match the filter scene, otherwise the filter scene is still reliable and only the blood is fake, which seems completely pointless to me but arguing about it at this point is useless) and even Watadamashi has the whole "Keiichi killed Rika and Mion was just covering for him" possibility (paranoid, last one to return to class, Satoko accuses him, Mion changes her reply to protect him after he asks in an aggressive way, is surprised by the door to the septic tank being locked and glanced to the sides before checking it).
