Shitty is negative. Bad is bad, imperfect is at odds with the definition of a mary sue which is regularly accepted as being a perfect character. Erika is arguably a perfect character without flaws. It's simply that she sucks at solving anything

No, Tohya simply skipped ahead to the discovery of the gold for the sake of the mystery fans. Erika solved nothing.
Erika is Bernkastel's self insert in a literary work, thus a literal mary sue, not a figurative one.

There is also a joke in her name as well. Erika. E-Rika. E-something is a common name for something on the internet. Forgeries were created and placed on the internet for mystery fans to solve. So when the mystery fans create their own detective on the internet, they place an internet Rika in the forgeries. An E-Rika. Erika.

I'm personally annoyed that people take offence to a joke when it serves as both the truth of her character and a joke.
I prefer to call Erika a failed mary sue rather than an imperfect one, but shitty mary sue is better.

Not to mention that the joke was to poke fun of all three alternative Rikas on the right side. Ass kicking whore is accurate but Stela is never refered to as a whore. Yukarin is a bullied kid who bullies bullies to stop bullying but the amount of bullying added to her actions is what makes it funny. And Erika is a shitty mary sue.
All three do not have their names attached because they aren't as important as Rika or tell you her transformation from baby Rika to becoming Bernkastel.
