Assuming you do all EOs every month, and get at least three medals per event (All Hard), you will earn 84 medals in a year. You can make up to 21 BP with this.
Assuming you do just four EOs monthly, and get at least two medals per event (All Medium), you will earn 56 medals in a year. You can make up to 14 BP with this.
Assuming you do just two EOs monthly, and get one medal per event (All Easy), you will earn 28 medals in a year. You'll only get 7 BP from this.
First guy has enough medals to fully remodel all 18 BP ships. Second guy would miss four ships (Five if he goes for Bismarck Drei). Third guy operates at a newfag rate, so he's fucked. However, an actual newfag could theoretically be stuck with the third rate for three months and one event, then advance to second rate for the rest of the year. With that in mind, he'd earn at least 49 medals, giving him enough for 12 BP with one leftover medal. This is currently enough for Abukuma, Cranes, Tone-class, Fusou-class, Choukai, and either Italians/Bismarck/2xUnryuu-class/Tankhatsu DDs in one year.
This is all assuming one doesn't use medals for screws, which is more likely for newfags since they usually won't have Akashi. This is also underestimating the possible amount of medals one gets from events since the exact amount awarded varies.
