Can this be be Moutain of Fait thread instead of a Tripfag thread ?

So it's actually my first Touhou, started playing a few days ago. Well, I suck at it but I'm not surprised, managed to get to stage 5 boss, easy mode of course.
I'm I the only one always gets dizzy ont stage 2, frist Hina appearance ? I use Reimu A, what character would you advise for a biginner not aiming at scoring ? And fucking stage 4 background, raping my eyes.
Also general tips about the game are welcome.
