Keine is actually one of the prettiest Touhous, people just can't stop staring at her hat though and so they don't notice. I guess this is what happens when Zun tries to draw a hat that isn't a shower bonnet.

Although as mentioned earlier Suwako's also got a weird as hell hat, and people don't seem to get bothered by it much. Then again Pyonta actually looks pretty cool; that hat basically completes her whereas it just looks like extra fluff on Keine with an already poofy dress and long hair.

That's why she's got more fanart in Were-Hakutaku mode than normal mode.

I wish Keine was more popular. I suppose I should be satisfied that at least she's not one of the completely-forgotten ones, but, she's such an interesting character (and so adorable) that it's a shame she just kind of gets disregarded except for whenever someone needs a teacher character in a doujin/4koma.

I don't see why Mokou is so much more popular than Keine. In before "because she's hotter" and other bad puns.
