That is true, the bad guys are always cooler than the good guys. Also evil vs evil is a great combo however so is good guys turning evil. Maybe the ancient good is a heroine who defeated a previous Demon Lord but sealed herself away after their influence began to turn her into a monster and then when the current DL rolled around she monsterized in her sleep. Be funny if as she was from a previous era her sense of morality was completely skewed like most mythological heroes so she basically acts like a monster anyways when she takes the man who woke her but thinks she's completely in the right in doing so

Single Braves probably don't get approached as much as you think because men are either intimidated by their reputations or get snapped up by weaker monstergirls. Good news as you can put out a request for (her) and help her live out her dream of protecting an innocent young man

Would it be okay to conquer demon realms in order to build an empire so long as all battles were fought with demon silver?

Ive been thinking something similar. A knight is sent to rescue a princess from a monster but he "rescues" the monster instead. I don't know how you would justify him rescuing the monster, maybe he has cataracts and can't see too well
