Hinata represents not only an idealized copulation partner and mate, but an idealized life overall. Your mate, your career, your friends, family, associates, that cabin on the lake you always dreamed about...all the things that in an ideal life you would like to have.

You were raised up since you were a small child with visions of idealized Hina, and all that she represents, as being something that you should aspire to,and if you worked hard, she was very much attainable. The males in your family had their own version of Hina that they worked hard to attain as well.

Every single one of them attained their Hina, or settled for a bit of a downgrade that, while not ideal, suited them and satisfied them to a certain degree. These men lived in sane times, even the ones who lived and died in wars were living in a world that they could grasp as a concept fundamentally.
