Having finished the demo I'm pretty much sold on this vn concept-wise.
The exposition dump was a bit annoying, though. The mechanics of the whirlpool and the repetition-induced comatose loopers could have been a bit more interesting if certain aspects had been left left implicit, at least until much later - even if the main source of conflict is how the characters cope with their useless eternity on a psychological level, it's still nice to have a bit more ambiguity. Higurashi did that really well, but I guess after Turn and the entirety of Umineko Ryukishi got a bit discouraged when it comes to that kind of thing.
It'll be interesting to see how much of a common route this story has.
