I actually do that spellcard thing, except with a couple additions. Enemy above me? 3a-66b-spellcard. Sometimes I do 5fa-3a-66b-spellcard, or 2a-3a-66b, or sometimes I can just do j.2a into spellcard. My deck reflects this.
