This makes perfect sense. Why do you think Ooishi is unmarried at 65 and wants to retire to live with his widowed mom?

Actually, Ooishi's older brother was Hideyoshi's dad, who died in his 40s. Hideyoshi inherited the yellow jacket of inceldom from his uncle when he retired back in 1983, but he was already married to Eva and passed it down to his son.

Notice how Ooishi never actually wears the jacket and just carries it on his hands. He's no incel, he's a mgtow chad. George does wear that cursed yellow jacket to every family conference because he's still secretly an incel in his heart even though he's about to marry a jailbait maid.

"Ooishi" was Hideyoshi's original family name before he became an Ushiromiya. Both characters lost the rest of their family in the war (Ooishi had his old friendship with the dam dude, who was also mgtow, while Hideyoshi only had his uncle Ooishi since he was young and decided to become a married cuck to create a family). Both characters smoke. They are both fat. "Ooishi" sounds like "Oishii", that's why he's called Mr. Delicious. Hideyoshi founded a successful restaurant chain, probably named "Ooishi" as a pun on his family name AND the deliciousness of the meals they serve.

It all makes sense. When Hideyoshi says that he has absolutely no family, he's intentionally ignoring the existence of his old unmarried uncle and his dead grandmother (she dies before 1985 according to Himatsubushi, so she doesn't exist by the time Umineko takes place).

Prove me wrong. Best uncle in Umineko had a badass detective uncle himself. It all makes sense.
