Don't try to shoehorn in elitism. Gatekeeping is necessary to keep Twitterfags, moralfags, trolls, and politics from invading your hobbies and changing them for the worse.

Elitism is what creates autistic fandoms like SU and Undermeme. I don't care about the opinion of some faggot telling me what I'm not allowed to enjoy about WTC, or that I'm not allowed to introduce new people to WTC, or anything along those lines.
