I don't like gacha for the same reaons as the other anons but some look at least better than others. Cannonball seemed decent, or maybe it didn't had the time to became too greedy. Also the intro animation is actually amazing.
I have less sympathy for Lost Word however. Involving doujin artists seems nice but I wonder how much they were paid versus how much the game makes. And I'm not sure how I feel about things like pic related. Of course people already did drawings like this before Lost Word and it's not a problem but that game being so popular and so accessible gives a very different feel to the series to newcomers. I've seen people with love for a character so fragile it literally depends on if they manage to pull the latest costume of that character.

Ouside of gacha, the whole "Touhou Doujin Music Distribution" thing (東方同人音楽流通) was a little worrying. While a legal way of distributing their music on streaming platforms is probably a good news for doujin circles, having a company doing the middleman between them and the buyers doesn't seems very "doujin" to me. Thankfully things have improved since it was first introduced, before circles weren't even allowed to have their own page on BOOTH as everyting had to be under the single "東方同人音楽流通" page.
