Let's try having a civilized chat here.

At least for me, pure denpa must deliver an strange or unsettling feeling to the viewer while it's still dazzling and addictive. The problem is that what nowadays may be considered strange or unsettling may not be in the future. In that sense, Denpa is a vanguard; a terrain of experimentation inside japanese music, specially electronic nowadays.

Given that "Otaku" (as it's understood in the west) culture is an excelent complement to Denpa they became almost inseparable. Under17 and Momoi created the link for this. Wether Denpa has completely fused with Otaku culture, specially Akihabara's, it's another issue. What came from this is Moe Denpa, an style that focus more on portraying the delusions of the moe adicted Akihabara dwelers. This is still interestingand follow Denpa foundations but, like most things from the anime industry, is stalled in some stereotypes. Of course, ssome artists trascend those stereotypes using a moe denpa base for their songs.

Personally I enjoy moe denpa as much as pure denpa. But I'd love to listen more crazy and experimental stuff. And also listen to Mmbk and Nanahira voicing it.

Finally, before someone asks, these are some albums from those I've listened that I consider closer to that ideal. Keep in mind that it's still my opinion so feel free to differ and call my taste shit:
