The way fires simmer, Hot coals and embers.

In them I can hear the whispers and hot breath from a voice I never wanted to recognize.

The kids are all dead. Souls searching for a place to sleep.

Skulls and half eaten-flash stick up through the the ashes . Rude suggestions of humanity. Swords everywhere. Bodies huddled around them. femurs and skulls and fingers stripped of flesh, robbed of the feeling that fled from this place long ago.

I see my shadow dancing in the coals.

I hear the voice of evil.

It's me.

And you fill their souls
With all oppressions of this world
