You can see it clearly in the other portraits, Alphes tried to incorporate the gradient. Tried. He also has the beginnings of the clothes made of the sky (you can see her back bow with a slight cloud pattern) but he didn't go far enough with it. It's possible that her original eye color was supposed to be red but ZUN changed his mind last minute to blue and that somehow didn't get communicated. Whatever the case, the red eyes stuck among fan artists, even offical guest fan artists.

Does /jp/ have more SWR portraits like these? Changing all the character portraits in Elona to Touhoes and tweaking the dialogue/names/etc. to Gensokyo-appropriate material.

Help is appreciated.
