Ive been studying japanese for 2 years now for the sole purpose of getting a japanese gf. But now im in college and have taiwanese girlfriend, whose not into much anime.

But I'd hate to have two years of my life all go to waste. So /djt/, any compelling arguments for why i should bother studying japanese anymore?

1. Dont be an annoying normie gaijin that bangs 5 japanese chicks a night oe is a total weeb

2. Read as many japanese sentences you can a day on tangorin or the kotoba app

3. Anime, jlpt audio, etc. for listening excercise

4. Hellotalk and lang-8 for writing. I dont do writing, but i should, so i dont know how many sentences you should write a day. But this would be good for learning basic grammar and then making long sentences.

The key to japanese is that its not something where you can just memorize one specific thing a day, and be done with it, you have to be dedicated to doing it for 5 to 10 hours a day. Youll feel like dying after 30 mins
