I thought NEET was always a joke of /jp/s, especially once I started seeing things like truNEET. We have threads about toho plushies, tea, vns, and most of it is still listed as legal but discouraged content. I believe that /jp/ was a reactionary move, thus the board has mostly been filled with reactionary content, such as shitposting.

Hi /jp/. I was thinking of buying a couple of English-language VNs from J-List (seems they're having a small sale this month), but I've also come across some pretty abysmal reviews regarding their service. For instance, see http://www.resellerratings.com/store/J_List

I've never bought otaku shit online before. Are there any experienced buyfriends who have dealt with this company before? What's the service and shipping like? Your input is much appreciated.

In a bit more than a week I'm going to Japan for three months. And I'm a bit anxious right now.

My moonspeak level is still low (for my standarts), although I've improved a great deal in the past 5 months. Especially concerning written Japanese.

I'm wondering how I'll cope. I got plenty of cash and all that and at least for the first month I don't even have to wonder much about where to stay and all, since I'm going to stay in a Gaijin House in Tokyo.

Maybe some Anon got some practical advice for me. I'm not even sure what to ask exactly. I guess just what I should the first few weeks expect to be. (In b4 Japan haet gaijin scum)
