Ichirin was my favorite to play as in the HM demo, for that alone she gets a bit of my affection.

I think what's holding her back is lack of character progression. She shows up a lot, but it's not like characters like Reisen or Sanae where they change as people. At most she's just shown to get along with people outside of her religion but it doesn't feel like enough.
