Well, "doing weirds things in the background" pretty much sum up her character, even during lives. However if you watch older interview (circa 2014) she definitly seems to be the shy type but she was less "hardcore" in her behavior (it is also the case during the "meet and greet" at the end of lives) so my opinion is that it is a combination of both.
