massive playlist. managing it is a pain in the ass but you do it out of passion. i have a lot of automation tools.
i prefer to listen to albums. album by album. i am disappointed that a lot of you don't do that.
i tend to name folders only artist - album, and exclude the circle name because i don't care.
that way they sort by artist and all of their music will group up together in the playlist.
i pause playback when i leave for work then i come home and unpause. i will do this in the middle of songs and not restart them.
pretty much all of my waking moments at home i'm listening to music. i get 365-day scrobbling streaks on last.fm. most of the time i will just let it play and hear a singular artist's entire discography. i like to hear it all in perspective of one another. i like hearing how artists evolve and innovate.
i call these "%artist name% days" because i am extremely autistic
as in, whenever it's AVTechno days, i feel like i'm eating good. nayuta alien days are also good. daniwellP days are bright and sunny. al-kamar days are for when i want to kill myself but they don't last very long because they really only have 1 album.
