But I still stand by my statement that, if they're REALLY about doing what the girls want, it would make sense to at least respect the other members. I would never rip on any of the other members because I know Aichan wouldn't want me to do that. You're right that the way Japanese society is structured makes it hard to put biases and allegiances and etc etc aside (in fact, it even encourages those kind of things), but that doesn't make it any more excusable.
