My point is that there are quadrillions of "real worlds" in the series, but from a meta perspective they are fiction. And the meta itself is fiction from Featherine's perspective.

Also, the idea of someone ascending to the meta is pretty interesting too.

The point of reference for Umineko is that one fragment where Ange's parents were the culprits and Battler lost his memory. The family members are dead and remain dead.

This means that the meta and piece versions of Battler, George, Beatrice, Maria, Natsuhi and everyone else are separate from their "real world" counterparts. The real Battler became Tohya, but meta-Battler (basically an exact CLONE of the real Battler) is the one living the dream as a golden sorcerer. The "real" Maria is dead and her meta version is the one experiencing the events of Umineko. It's kind of depressing to think about.

Bernkastel is a voyager witch, so she's not tied to a particular legend, story or character like Beatrice is. She can probably change her appearance at will too, since she's nothing but a concept.

Lambda is even more free than Bern is. Unlike Bern, she wasn't born from the concept of a person rejecting her witch persona. She was born when Miyoko gathered enough determination to succeed in life with certainty. Her certain willpower ends up destroying Hinamizawa in countless worlds. That's where Lambdadelta came from. I'm pretty sure she can even change her PERSONALITY at will, because her origin is so vague.

She's like Graograman, the lion in The Neverending Story (novel). Bastian creates him along with his entire past and memories. So he has existed for thousands of years even though he was literally created two days ago. A similar idea can be applied to Lambdadelta.
