On the topic of Evil Hanyuu.

Do you think Ryukishi handled that well in Gou? Or did you think Eua was a terribly written hack?
He still didn't have the guts to give his adorable moeblob chara morally questionable motives, but at least he went back to the original plot and essentially introduced another facet of the same entity to serve as the antagonist. Only this time it would be a more cartoony "for the lulz" evil rather than something more relatable, more human.

Isn't Gou just kinda taking Ryukishi's original evil Hanyuu idea and decoupling it from the cute moeblob to make it as inoffensive as possible?
So that one Hanyuufag keeps buying all the merch and 07th Expansion doesn't go bankrupt.
