yeah ok, except the Morning Musume I loved was vastly different from the current shit version you know.

The Morning Musume I knew was fucking BADASS. it was not this wota fap pile as it is known today.

The mood, image and feel of Morning Musume and hello project in general at that time was vastly different.

It was.... popular. Everyone loved them. Many "normal" people could even name all the members and knew the lyrics by heart.

It just had this more authentic feel to it and it did not feel like it was just some otaku's wetdream and fap material like it does not.

When you witness the slow decline first hand (I am going to say from Maki's graduation in 2002) and watched it lose popularity and its image sink... its depressing.

I remember a day, when not just wota could call themselves a Morning Musume fan. Hell, they did not even have wotas back then, at least not like they do now. If anything, the wotas destroyed Morning Musume.
