Should remake Ciel endings be analyzed in terms of potential hidden meaning? At face value they look identical to the original, but they're not. In old Tsukihime it goes like
>Don't obey Arcueid.- true
>Obey Arcueid. - good
while in Remake it's
>Can't agree to Arcueid's proposal... - normal
>Can't get myself to hate Arcueid... - true
Remake normal end is nearly identical to the old true end, except that the talk with kid Shiki doesn't happen and Ciel dies. Remake True is mostly new except for the dream sequence (which is different from the original or remake normal, kid Shiki talk and the epilogue taken from the original true end). Also, Roa scene only happened in the old good ending, but is present in both remake endings. Neco-Arc thought that the true ending will be the threesome one, but it's not, the events of the old good ending and remake true are nothing alike.
So that leads to a couple of questions. Why doesn't kid Shiki do anything in the remake normal ending if it's identical to the old true end up to that point? What's the idea behind cutting Ciel good ending, is it a one time only thing and it's meant to be restored in the full version, or are all old good endings scrapped and true ones are downgraded to normals?
