The learning curve for writefagging is steeper due to the curve itself starting lower compared to drawfagging to reach the same place in the theoretical end. There's hardly any entry barrier in writefagging compared to drawfagging that requires you proper skillsets like the ability to draw an actual straight line and shapes, something that isn't trained as much in daily life compared to writefaggotry grammar and spelling that is used even to write these posts.

The problem starts when you get past the mark where you can write something without sixty plot holes, since what'd remain is the "style" of writing and how you translate ideas into prose rather than working out the structure of the ideas. That can make or break a story as much as shitty style can break an image, and I'd say it's harder to find resources to improve on par with drawfaggotry and knowing where you should even go. Half of the skill progression is running in blind and hoping for the best. A good way to think about it is how you can find a near endless amount of tutorial videos on how to drawfag regardless of their quality, yet comparatively there's almost none on how to writefag. An aspiring writefag's best bet would be to find a writefag to take him under his wing and teach him what he already learned, not only due to the aforementioned lack of resources but also due to the teaching being specifically tailored for the one wanting to learn rather than made to teach a faceless audience of [insert number here].
