My favorite part was one of the guys behind this patch coming to the threads here either or on /a/ and arguing about how the other viewers were actually going to get you banned, so we should switch over. The mantra behind this from Commie and the users seemed to be that we were all liable to getting banned at any moment for being foreigners, so what did we have to lose? Yet here we are years later without a single confirmed incident of anyone getting banned for not being Japanese. The guys from Commie were huge cheaters too. One of them even had Yamato before LSC was added on a server that opened after her event ended, and he wasn't afraid of showing her off in PvP. Soon enough, they lost their accounts and ragequit.
