In my very short experience in /bun/, I experienced this same thing. Someone made a drawfag thread, and there were like ten posts telling the OP not to call themselves "drawfags" but something else like "drawfriends" or just "drawers"

I didn't see any mods in particular post, but you could almost feel the tyranny of the moderator clique hovering over the thread.
