Not always... Yurina isn't a good singer but she has a cool sounding voice as do Risako and Mai, the list goes on and on. It's safe to say that if you honestly cared about technically rounded and professionally trained vocals you wouldn't be listening to Japanese pop let alone Hello!Project Kids, although I will say that some of them can sing exceptionally well.
