List of victims: First one was 4-year-old Mari Konno. He abducted her from a foot bridge near her apartment while she was on her way to a friend's house. She got in his car and he drove her an hour and a half away, out to a wooded area, where he walked around with her for a half hour and then strangled her once she started getting upset. He stripped her naked, did sexual things with the corpse, then took her clothes and drove, off leaving the body behind.

He later killed his second victim in the same area, leaving the body near-by to Mari's, and then came back some time later and took Mari's bones, which he kept the hands and feet of and then cremated the rest and left them in a box outside the front door of her parents' apartment. He also used to call them in the middle of the night and sent them letters saying what he did to their daughter.
