The montage makes it pretty clear that it's about encountering misfortune regardless of what she tries.

Remember that she herself points out her misfortune and groups it all into simply fate being a bitch, so take it from her, not me.

That doesn't really matter, we very clearly see that Satoko's doing it because she enjoys it and is very excited to begin causing tragedies. She literally gets aroused after murdering Rika too. Eua wanting it to happen is just a bonus.
