Shintoism is the closest thing you will get to the los tribes of isrial's hebrewism combined with the pagan rituals. To that extent there is no doubt that some shinto tradtions and beleifs have or shed light of truth on things, but it is without grace of God nor do they hold holy power. One of the reasons why the tribes were sent out away from isreial is because they betrayed God in adobting paganism.

After studying deeply on shintoism I'm convinced from a Catholic theologin's perspective that a lost tribe settled in the heart of Jomon settlments in Japan combining Jomon relgious systems and their own paganistic Hebrewism.

I find that Shintoism's concept of anything being able to become a god a strong backdrop to Japan's tradtional nighlism.
