I sparkle DDs and CLs at 1-5 to get ranking points for cheap. Pic related is my typical setup for 1-5; line ahead/double line/line abreast/line abreast for nodes A/B/C/I respectively. It works most of the time, from 2/3 to 4/5 of the time depending on RNG's mood.

I prefer using non-Kai DDs in the 4th slot as they are cheap and quick to repair. After every run, if the BBV still has fuel left (usually 20%) I don't resupply her fuel; I've found that it makes no difference to her evasion at 1-5. I usually bucket the BBV only when she reaches red; it's easier to sparkle the DD/CL I want to sparkle if the BBV's in orange.
