So that shipgirl game where you play as the Abyssals came out

Gameplay is just Princess Connect that runs slower, nothing much to see.

But the Abyssalfied versions of IJN ships do actually look like legit Abyssal designs that can fit in Kancolle. Abyssalfied USN ships look like Metal Gear Rising bosses, Royal Navy ones all have some animal motiv and the Kriegsmariene is kind of a mishmash of all the above

Plot is actually quite coherent and straightforward, which I guess is something that you don't really see in Shipgirl games (AL being the worst offender. It revolves around Juneau and Jupiter's revenge quest against Not!USA and Not!UK. Not!Japan appears to be hostile to the Abyssal player faction but is secretly funding the Abyssals as long as they keep being a pain in the ass to Not!UK and Not!USA.
