A larger mask will offset your height, and in solo shots will look fine. most masks are large enough to offset typical male heights, except maybe GKOs which are pretty snug. The padding method is the same no matter how tall you are. There's actually an informative thread about it if you want to bother looking at the KCS forums.

As for the bulge, that's padding too. You just pad AROUND it. Basically if you're making the hips, butt, and thighs larger, your padding is going to reach around the front as well. Just pad everywhere BUT that area, and it'll seem flat.
