They have, but I can only see Rin playable if somehow the incident involved Satori directly, otherwise she seems the type that wouldn't give a fuck about what's happening. And if it were about ghost/evil spirits I would expect Youmu or even Komachi before her.

I can't see Shou playable at all after HM, Ichirin stole her spotlight. Even if she's weak and a stage 3 boss, Ichirin is the one that fits the loyal guard-dog, fangirl servant type, Sakuya, Futo, Sanae, Youmu have. Even in UFO, she was all "Stop I won't let you pass, I'll protect onee-sama", while Shou just infodumped something about the ritual. Ichrin is also more impulsive, and seems to leave the temple more, and it has been set up as Futo's rival. Shou on the other hand, is too important to the temple and has to keep an image, and seems more of an equal ally to Byakuren, rather than a servant type, like patchy to Remilia, Suwako to Kanako, Kaguya to Eirin or Yukari to Yuyuko.

But honeslty I don't see the buddhist touhous involving themselves in another incident any time soon, since it seems we are back to fairy tales.
