Plate armor was predominantly only worn by the Lords or other wealthy individuals because of how many fucking pieces go into it.

For instance, this is Wiegraf Folles from Final Fantasy Tactics in his Knights Templar armor set. He's literally wearing the following:
Arms: Pauldrons, Rerebrace, Couter (Secured over leather or cloth by belts), and Gauntlets.

Body: Breastplate, faulds, and tassets (Obscured by his tabard)

Legs: Cuisses, Polyens, and Greaves (All secured by belts to allow for more mobility)

Keep in mind all of his armor is basically custom tailored to be form fitting in respect to enabling more mobility and foregoing gorget and helmet to increase his visibility (Though he can wear a hood to look like a fucking faggot).

You'd almost be better off doing a Western Ochi in either hardened leather and chainmail, or doing like >>17228948 said and making her into Fate's Arturia.
