I don't know if we can say the relationship between different mana types changed so much as it was clarified. Runya Runya adopted a much more detailed description compared to the Wandering Scholars early summaries. The end meaning is similar, namely mamono mana is still very similar to other types of mana but with a number of unique and special properties, but Runya Runya didn't try to get poetic with "two sides of the same coin" analogies like the scholar.

"Plus and minus" may still work as an analogy though, since mamono mana (the minus) does consume other types of mana it interacts with and grows (the plus).

To my knowledge there is no reference to a time span, nor to it eliminating any requirements a monster may have. Rather than an automatic thing, getting past a monster's requirements (like in the case of a baphomet) requires a fair amount of sincerity and effort on the man's part.

In that case, mana markers could possibly be as useful in the modern world as in the MGE one. Since monsters are found outside their preferred habitats more often, there would be a greater chance for them to sense the marker. Plus it would help protect you from other monster species.

As for why it can be categorized despite everyone having unique mana, it's because different types of mana still include similarities within the type that are not shared with other types. Think of it like how dogs and cats are both mammals of the same order, but share features with other dogs and cats that they don't share with each other.

As for why it can all be used for magic, that's because manipulating mana is what magic is, and the different types can be manipulated to similar ends. To quote Runya Runya:

Also, it's not talking about just siphoning mana from the atmosphere, but siphoning mana from her mate during sex. The implication being that no, monsters do not all absorb everything their husband pumps into them, some individuals and body types are better at it than others.

All in all though, it's not that lolis are innately better with magic, they just may be more efficient with it overall.
