The man who cursed his powerlessness; unable to stop him, unable to comfort him, unable to repay his kindness.
The man who realized that he was no better a friend than a piece of furniture.

The furniture that wanted nothing but to serve it's master.
The furniture that eventually outlived that master.
The furniture that had spent over half it's life on Rokkenjimma.
The furniture that had witnessed firsthand all the sins committed over the years by the Ushiromiya family and those connected to it.
The furniture that finally understood that everything on that cursed island needed to be wiped clean.

Only then could everything come to an end.
Only then could the furniture fulfill it's role.
Only then could it become human again.
And only then would he reunite with his friend in the Golden Land.
