/jp/ - Otaku Culture

I'm new to Japanese and I think I only got like 300 vocabs down.
I've tried to read Promised Neverland but I got humbled by obscure kanji, and more importantly, "wrong" readings.
Of course I can't judge if the reading is wrong, but the furigana provided very often doesn't produce the kanji that it states it does, but instead, a kanji of similiar meaning.

Pic-related is my deck 27 pages in.
I'll mine up to page 37 and then do all cards at once.
