Sorry for the retarded-ness, but;
I just started playing Higurashi Episode 1, but I have no idea what art I am meant to be using.
I keep seeing 'use PS3 sprites', but they aren't labelled in game, so I don't know what they look like.

Can someone please help me out?

If you're talking about this ps3/vita game, they're just porting the ds assets (literally the 2.0 ps2 sprites and more bgs/cgs) to 1080p that came out in 2008.

If you're talking about the Steam release, that's because they couldn't get the rights for the Alchemist assets, so they decided to simply hire a (hentai) artist to do the job instead.

For every of them, left to right : vanilla, mangagamer Steam, Matsuri on Ps2, Kizuna on ds (and on Ps3/Vita incoming)

a better version of the default Rena sprites comparison (MG's doesn't have the text anymore, and Kizuna is more accurate)
