Whether or not it "adds to the world/story" is irrelevant in the first place. It's still new content that English-speaking fans desperately crave. Unless it's so horrible that it retroactively ruins our view of the series, there's no reason not to translate it.

I remember going through play-through videos of it before, and it's really good. Satoko actually stumbles upon K1 and the others right when they kill Teppei.
