Unbeknownst to all, the girl who is now known as Lenfried was a loyal general of Oda Nobunaga by the name Mori Ranmaru, one of the select few present during his betrayal and consequent suicide. However, before killing himself, Nobunaga revealed a secret to Lenfried; that he had made a contract with Ninjas of Time and Space to gain insight about future moves of his oppenents. Now he was obliged to pay the price for their services, but he was in no condition to do so. He gave Lenfried to the care of the Ninjas, to eventually pay Nobunaga's debt. The public was told that Lenfried too committed suicide alongside Nobunaga.

The Ninjas trained him as one of their own. The Ninjas of Time and Space are founded on a single central philosophy, thusly summed by their leader, a mysterious individual only known as Anonymous: "I want to be the little girl. " It is there that Lenfried was taught the art of traveling through the eras, and when he was fully initiated into the clan, he was transformed into a girl both in mind and body. Life as a Ninja was not easy, however, as they had to fight other time travel-capable groups such as the Great Race of Yith or the dreaded Interdimensional Yakuza, founded when a yakuza leader noticed that mugging several different versions of the same person several times was very efficient and learned how to reach into parallel universes. Assigned to Modern Era division of the Ninjas, Lenfried now fights Lovecraftian aliens and transdimensional mafia on a daily basis while trying to find a way to revive her lord Nobunaga. But she has not forgotten her humble origins as a common man, and frequently allows cocktease photos of her to be taken for the enjoyment of men throughout the world.
