I remember someone pointed out the absurdity of how humans tended to dress. Maybe that could be a plotpoint, human woman have to compete with monsters so their casual dress is a lot like the monsters. Though, most people are also told that monsters will kill humans rather than rape or seduce humans. Maybe humans are encouraged to show themselves off and marry early since marriage will provide some protection against monsters?
