3.) Know about Japanese customs, traditions, and modern-social norms

I mean other than knowing Japanese and understanding the Japanese culture and society its the same thing as getting any other gf.

I suggest not stereotyping though. Every woman is different.
I know many Japanese citizens and Japanese immigrants who I love dearly, but this is an unspoken love that many already assume of me that has been suggested in smaller daily and weekly actions and situations. The expression of emotions while in Japan is unbearable in public. None the less I believe many Japanese men and women seek Western lovers specifically because we have very different expressions of love. What I mean by this is that we tend to show more emotion in general and most of all the expression of love to others (again specifically romantic love). Japanese society has a cold and pessimistic notion of romantic love, like a hopelessness. American sense of love is twisted, but not necessarily cold.
