You've misunderstood what I meant. I said that the world is built on sex, full stop. Doesn't matter if that's with 70 people a month or with one person for your entire life; either way, sex ergo reproduction of the species is the sole destiny of every human being on the planet. It's why we're here. It's how we got here. It's how we're going to stay here. And sex itself is simply the act which is used to fulfill this destiny. It could easily be argued that sex for any purpose other than reproduction is hedonistic; it might bring you 'closer' to your partner in a way, but at the end of the day it's still very pleasurable. Can't you just hug her? Why does your penis need to be stimulated?
